Het is nu een Werelderfgoed en is al eeuwenlang het centrum van de portwijnhandel.<\/p>\n<p>Guimar\u00e3es is een prachtige middeleeuwse stad en de geboorteplaats van Portugal. Het was hier dat de oprichting van een natie begon.
