De gevarieerde geologie van het gebied zorgt voor een rijke diversiteit aan landschappen, van granieten bergen tot dramatische kalkstenen hellingen en zeekliffen; deze diversiteit wordt aangevuld door de lokale flora en fauna die gedijen in het gelijkmatige klimaat van milde, zonnige winters en lange, hete zomers. Dit alles, gecombineerd, maakt het wandelen hier fascinerend.<\/p>\n

Silves, uitzicht vanaf het kasteel<\/p><\/div>\n

Van de "klassieke" delen van de kust van de Algarve met zijn perfecte zandstranden en ruige landtongen van Portim\u00e3o tot de prachtige oude steden zoals Silves en Lagos, de wandelingen in deze tour brengen ons naar de juiste plaatsen zodat we de enorme gastvrije hart van de Algarve.<\/p>\n

Ons gevarieerde aanbod varieert van de groene heuvels rond het stadje Monchique waar we mooie uitzichten hebben over de omliggende heuvels tot de kleine lokale dorpjes waar het beroepsleven al eeuwenlang doorgaat. Hier in de buurt worden johannesbrood en olijven verbouwd op boerderijen en kleine boerderijen, samen met sinaasappels en ander citrusfruit, granaatappels, amandelen en een overvloed aan andere producten.<\/p>\n
