Dit nationale park bevat enkele van de mooiste en meest gevarieerde landschappen die in het hele land te vinden zijn en hier vindt u een overvloed aan zeldzame wilde bloemen, roofvogels, kuddes wilde paarden en andere dieren in het wild.<\/p>\n

Peneda Sanctuary \u2013 Nationaal Park Peneda Portugal<\/p><\/div>\n

Onze vakantie met twee centra in het noordwesten van het park is gecentreerd in de Serra da Peneda. Het is zo ontworpen dat je de meest spectaculaire en interessante delen van deze bergen kunt bezoeken.<\/p>\n

Onze opmerkelijk gevarieerde wandelingen zullen het dramatische, steile en granieten landschap van Meadinha omcirkelen en oude paden volgen door de weelderige vallei van de rivier de Peneda.<\/p>\n

Door de wat afgelegen ligging is het park beschermd. U zult niet alleen genieten van de schoonheid van de regio, van dramatisch glooiend heidegebied tot torenhoge granieten rotsen, maar ook een bezoek brengen aan veel van de oude gehuchten verspreid over het platteland en genieten van de legendarische gastvrijheid van de bergbewoners.<\/p>\n

Ons eerste centrum ligt in het bergdorpje Castro Laboreiro, dat over het hoofd wordt gezien door zijn oude kasteel.<\/p>\n

Ge\u00efsoleerde traditionele dorpen met hoge bergweiden en glooiende heidevelden strekken zich uit tot aan de grens met Spanje in het oosten. Maar loop het hotel uit naar het westen en we bevinden ons tussen torenhoge granieten rotsen en verborgen beboste valleien.<\/p>\n

Het dorp met zijn caf\u00e9s en een opmerkelijk comfortabel en goed ingericht hotel biedt ons de ideale plek om te verkennen en om aan het eind van de dag te ontspannen.<\/p>\n

We kunnen over de bergen lopen naar onze tweede locatie in het prachtige, afgelegen, maar beroemde heiligdom van Nossa Senhora da Peneda.<\/p>\n

Ons hotel in Peneda, ooit de pelgrimsherberg, is op fantasierijke wijze omgebouwd tot een hoogwaardig hotel.
